– BAX’S BABIES –
We are a family of four humans and several four-legged friends located in Jefferson City, MO. Animals have always been in our lives and our family has typically chosen to have purebred pets to pick out certain characteristics. On many occasions, while we always love our animals, our new family members had unwanted social characteristics. We typically found our new four legged friends weren’t adjusted to the other species, small children, loud noises, or even stairs. These experiences led us to the idea for Bax’s Babies. We raise Shelties in our home and right under our feet. Both cats and dogs have positive relationships with our new puppies. We DNA test our parents and make sure every animal that joins your family is healthy and happy. Our babies are used to children, the noises of everyday life, and the opposite species. Our babies are perfectly adjusted for your home environment. In order to focus on this component, we have 1 female Sheltie, and 1 male.
Our Shelties/Shetland sheep dogs are very intelligent, loyal, and affectionate. They are easy to train, and eager to please. Shelties were bred for herding, so they are very agile, quick, and energetic. Shelties use their barking abilities to alert their families if anything is out of place. Their often called miniature collies and their coat requires regular grooming.
